Executive Performance Management

Responsible for the performance management component of agency head contracts.

Performance Assessment of Agency Heads consistent with KRA’s.

Primarily responsible for the administration of agency heads contracts once NEC Decisions are made on appointments following the merit-based process.

Contracts facilitated in standard approved formats inclusive of performance commitment agreements.

Ensuring that contracts are referred immediately to State Solicitor for legal clearance and clearance received within 14 days of submission, and also liaises with NEC Secretariat for signing ceremonies.

Ensuring continuous dialogue and close consultations with Legal and Investigations Division on advisory on contract terms and conditions, renewal of appointments and other contractual matters related to suspension and termination of appointments.

Effective maintenance of the Executive Performance Management System with all heads of agencies, and in consultation with Portfolio Ministers, Governors and Boards where necessary.
